Prof. Adesogan earned his BS, MS and PhD degrees from Universities of Ibadan, Nigeria and Reading, UK. His research interests include improving silage preservation and safety, improving ruminant nutrition with additives and other strategies and improving the use of animal-source foods to enhance human nutrition and health. He is an Associate Vice President and Director, Global Food Systems Institute and the E.T. and V.C. York Professor of International Agriculture, IFAS, University of Florida. He has received over $70 million in grant funding, published over 160 journal papers and book chapters and received several awards.
